Xcel Energy is working to restore power to customers as quickly as possible after storms moved through the state late last night and early this morning.

As of this morning, Xcel was working to restore power to around 34,000 customers. That’s down from around 74,000 last night, with the majority of those impacted in the Twin Cities area.
