Venus Williams is set to tie the knot this September with fiance Andrea Preti, according to multiple media reports. Preti, 37, is a Denmark-born Italian actor and producer who began his career in modeling.

Preti and tennis legend Venus were first linked romantically in July 2024 after being spotted boating in Nerano, Italy along the Amalfi Coast. In February, engagement rumors intensified after the American tennis superstar was seen wearing a diamond ring during a training session in Rome, with Preti cheering from the stands.

The affectionate pair was also captured hugging and kissing outside the court. Their wedding is expected to take place this September along Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where their relationship first blossomed.

Though largely private, the couple occasionally share glimpses of their relationship – most notably in January 2025 when Williams posted a vacation selfie with Preti in the Bahamas, calling him ‘the best company’.

Preti, born in 1988 in Denmark, spent most of his early life there before relocating to Italy as a teenager. Initially a model, Preti transitioned into acting and producing after studying at New York’s Susan Batson Academy. His film credits include writing, directing, and starring in One More Day (2014), as well as roles in the Italian TV series A Professor and the 2023 film Temptation. He also appeared on the Italian reality show La Talpa.Venus, a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion and one of tennis’s most decorated athletes, has previously been linked to model Elio Pis in 2012 and millionaire Nicholas Hammond in 2017.

Despite public interest in her love life, Venus has always maintained a strong sense of independence. In a 2021 interview with Cosmopolitan, she spoke candidly about not feeling pressured by societal expectations to settle down or start a family.
