NASCAR podcast: Previewing the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona
The guys break down race week at Daytona International Speedway. How does the NASCAR playoff picture look? Who needs to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400?
NASCAR is back at Daytona! Before the Coke Zero Sugar 400 wraps up the Cup Series regular season, the Xfinity Series gets the action started with tonight’s Wawa 250 (as long as it doesn’t rain).
Qualifying for the Xfinity race kicks off the day of racing at Daytona International Speedway, followed by Coke Zero 400 qualifying. Then it’s time for the Wawa 250, won last year by Ryan Truex. There will be a new victor in 2025, and recent results would suggest that would be Connor Zilisch. The JR Motorsports Chevrolet driver won two weeks ago at Watkins Glen and has taken the checkered flag in five of the past eight Xfinity races.
Jesse Love has history at Daytona, notching an overtime win in February’s race before the Daytona 500, while Justin Allgaier and Austin Hill are also recent winners here. Could Natalie Decker become the first mother to win a NASCAR race?
