Prediction, How to Watch for Free (11/22/25)
The New York Knicks (9-5) visit the Orlando Magic (9-7) today for a late Saturday afternoon matchup at the Kia Center in Orlando.
New York enters coming off a 113–111 road win over the Dallas Mavericks — a game that was far closer than it should have been. Jalen Brunson returned to steady the Knicks’ backcourt, finishing with 28 points on 11-of-23 shooting.
But the Knicks nearly gave the game away at the free-throw line, shooting just 54%. It wasn’t only Mitchell Robinson (1-for-6). Karl-Anthony Towns also struggled at 5-for-9 despite being an 83.8% career free-throw shooter.
Josh Hart added 16 points in 30 minutes off the bench, and Landry Shamet knocked down a clutch three with just over 30 seconds remaining to seal the win.
Orlando, meanwhile, continues to manage without Paolo Banchero, who remains out with a groin injury. Franz Wagner has carried the offensive load at 22.6 points per game, while Desmond Bane is finally rounding into form, averaging 19.8 points over his last eight games and shooting much closer to his career norms from deep.
The Magic have won five of their last six, a run that includes their 124–107 victory at Madison Square Garden earlier this month — the game in which Banchero exited early. Even without him, Orlando prevailed behind 50 combined points from Wagner and Bane.
The Knicks will again be without OG Anunoby tonight. Still, they have enough scoring to hang with Orlando, but they’ll need to clean up the free-throw issues and execute more efficiently late.
Prediction
Expect another tight matchup. With the Knicks seeking payback for the Nov. 12 loss and Orlando riding a strong stretch at home, the slight edge goes to the Magic.
Prediction: Magic 113, Knicks 108
