NFL Week 13 news, live updates: Sauce Gardner ruled out with calf injury, Davante Adams stays hot with second TD of the day
Week 13 of the NFL season and 10 games scheduled for Sunday afternoon, seven taking place in the early window and three in the late portion. Houston against Indianapolis and Buffalo taking on Pittsburgh are the headliners of the afternoon slate of games. Among the rest of the slate, the Rams and Panthers could also have huge playoff implications.
After losing its first three games to start the season, Houston (6-5) has won its last three to climb above .500 for the first time this season. The Texans will need to continue their winning ways against the Colts (8-3) this weekend to keep serious playoff hope alive. They’ll get quarterback C.J. Stroud back in action this week after having missed each of the past three games with a concussion.

Indy is coming off a tough 23-20 loss in overtime to the Chiefs and is clinging to a one-game lead over the Jaguars in the AFC South. This is a big divisional matchup between Houston and Indianapolis and will have massive playoff implications.

Jets running back Tyler Allgeier puts the Falcons on the board right before the half ends. Breece Hall scored the Jets’ only touchdown earlier in the second quarter.
Falcons running back Bijian Robinson leads the game with 90 yards on 13 carries. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 86 yards so far in his second straight start in place of Michael Penix Jr. Penix went down earlier this month and is out the rest of the season with a partial ACL tear.
Tyrod Taylor is off to a slow start for the Jets. Taylor has thrown for 42 yards. Taylor replaced Justin Fields as the starting quarterback before last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Miami flat-out dominated the first half, shutting out the Saints 16-0. Tua Tagovailoa was 7 of 14 for 93 yards and an interception in the first half. De’Von Achane rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Saints QB Tyler Shough was 7 of 12 for 43 yards in the first half with an interception. The Saints were 1 of 5 on third down.

Shedeur Sanders will be without one of his starting offensive linemen moving forward, as right tackle Jack Conklin has been ruled out with a concussion, the team announced.
Conklin has played just seven games this season while dealing with a myriad of injuries, including an elbow injury and a concussion he suffered in Week 6 that forced him to miss a week.
KT Leveston is in at right tackle in his place.

Texans lead at the half 10-6, behind 13 of 22 for 153 yards from C.J. Stroud and 22 yards rushing and a touchdown from Nick Chubb. Woody Marks left the game and returned after a foot injury, and had 20 yards on the ground. Nico Collings had four catches for 69 yards, and Dalton Schultz also had four receptions for 32 yards.
For Indy, Daniel Jones was 8 of 14 for 116 yards and a touchdown to Alec Pierce in the first half. Jonathan Taylor had 40 rushing yards in the first half.

Jacksonville takes an 18-3 lead over the Titans into halftime. The Jaguars dominated the first half with Trevor Lawrence throwing two touchdowns and 169 yards passing. Jakobi Meyers caught four receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. Brenton Strange caught the other touchdown pass and had 45 receiving yards.
Cam Ward was 10 of 16 for 69 yards for the Titans in the first half. Tony Pollard rushed for 43 yards.

That was quick. With 39 seconds left on the clock, the San Francisco 49ers quickly get to the red zone. A George Kittle 33-yard catch set up a Matt Gay 25-yard field goal. The 49ers led the Browns 10-8 at the half.

Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving has made his return from injury in Week 13, having been out since Week 4 with shoulder and foot injuries. It’s been a fairly slow start for him, totaling 35 rushing yards on nine carries heading into halftime.
The Buccaneers have a 10-3 lead over the Cardinals heading into halftime.

The rookies put on a show for the Cleveland Browns in their first scoring drive against the San Francisco 49ers. Shedeur Sanders threw a 34-yard passing touchdown to fellow rookie Harold Fannin Jr. A 49ers penalty set up Browns’ rookie running back Quinshon Judkins for a two-conversion out of the wildcat formation.
Sanders has played an efficient game so far. He has completed 8 of 11 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. The Browns led the 49ers 8-7.

Indianapolis takes the lead on this Daniel Jones to Alec Pierce touchdown. It was set up by the Colts, picking off Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud backed up near Houston’s own 10-yard line. The Colts missed the extra point, so they lead 6-3.
