Fans Applaud Shania Twain for Huge Gesture: ‘Queen Changing Lives’
Shania Twain is best known as one of country music’s biggest stars. However, recently, she’s been called a queen for another reason.
After decades in the business, Twain has earned a vast fortune. The “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”hitmaker is using her privilege for good through the Shania Twain Foundation.
In an Instagram video, Twain teared up as she talked about her latest project and giving back to kids who grew up like she did. The Shania Twain Foundation is teaming up with Second Harvest to donate $25,000 to different cities in Canada to help feed hungry kids.
It’s a dream come true for the country superstar who, as a kid, hoped she would be successful enough to help other kids like her someday. Twain enjoys being able to give back, considering everything her career has given her.
“Food should nourish people — not landfills. This year, the Shania Twain Foundation joined forces with @secondharvestca to help get good food to people in need and that means doing things like: Rescuing 30,000 lbs of potatoes and redistributing them to the @mjfoodbank in Moose Jaw 🥔 Coordinating a food rescue at the Calgary Stampede, which provided @community_kitchen_ with almost 11,000 lbs of food 🤠 Supporting rescue and redistribution efforts in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City 🚚 By working together, we’re not just raising awareness — we’re driving real action against food waste and hunger across Canada. 🩵💚,” read the caption on her Instagram share.
The comments section was filled with fans applauding Twain for her charitable nature.
“We love our Queen! She’s changed our lives, just by being in our lives!” stated one fan. Another expressed, “queen changing lives, love this,” while a different fan shared, “❤️🙌🔥 Queen changing lives!!”
One fan said, “Such kindness!! 💖Canadian Queen! ✨”. Twain was called, “Beautiful inside and out 🥹.”
Those are just some of the things fans are saying as Twain embarks on a journey to help ensure kids are fed. The Shania Twain Foundation was started one year ago, in August 2024.
According to its website, the foundation focuses on food insecurities, youth empowerment, and mental health for kids. The foundation teams up with local partners to help provide tools and resources to help kids, while also ensure they receive kindness and compassion to help build a better future for them.
Like in the video, Twain’s founder letter revealed this was something she has been determined to do since she was a child. Now, The Shania Twain is helping her and other young children and teens make their dreams come true.
