EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – The Amber Alert issued for 11-year-old Amelia Santiago has been cancelled, according to the CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.

Officials confirmed that Amelia has been located and is safe.

She was last seen on Sept. 19 in Manchester and was believed to be with her father, Ricardo Santiago, traveling in a gray 2015 Jeep Patriot.

No further details about the recovery have been released at this time.
