Leeds United are fuming with Anton Stach obstacle, it’s out of their hands

There has been plenty of frustration surrounding Anton Stach’s potential move to Leeds United.
It looked for some time that Stach would be an early signing for Leeds this summer, but it appears to have gone quiet.
The midfielder has heavily impressed for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, and would give Daniel Farke his own Rodri-like figure in the squad.
Hoffenheim green-lit Stach’s transfer, but there has been no suggestion that a £17m bid has been placed, which is the 26-year-old’s asking price.
It’s clear that fans are very excited about Stach, but that might just be the problem in terms of Leeds’ situation.

Leeds United are fuming with Anton Stach obstacle
The midfielder was once on the radar of Liverpool, proving how good a talent Stach is.
Stach is ‘high quality’ and fits the bill for the 49ers’ new transfer strategy of tall players, but the midfielder is so much more than just a brute in the middle of the park.
He would bring an option to Leeds that they don’t really have and could be crucial to their possible relegation battle.

But there is a problem halting this deal from happening, as the Yorkshire Evening Post have revealed how sources around the club feel.
It’s said that the public nature of the Whites’ pursuit of Stach has not been ‘helpful’ for the smoothest of negotiating processes with Hoffenheim, which has caused an obstacle in talks.

Red Bull hold the key to Stach’s move to Leeds
With the suggestions that a deal isn’t progressing, Leeds still have the key factor in their court.
Red Bull’s involvement is vital for Stach, as when it comes to German football, the minority owners are ‘well placed’.
This means that despite negotiations not going anywhere, Red Bull have given Leeds any last hope of securing a deal for Stach.
But with the saga being in the public domain, Hoffenheim don’t seem too pleased, and this will likely see the £17m price tag skyrocket.
Indeed, this has been made clear by the German outfit as Leeds are told to ‘dig deep’ for Stach this summer, but it’s proving problematic.
