Sporting Finalize Transfer of Ricardo Mangas from Spartak

Sporting and Spartak continue negotiations regarding the transfer of 27-year-old defender Ricardo Mangas, according to Championat, citing a source familiar with the situation. The two sides are engaged in direct dialogue and are finalizing the final details of the deal.

Record previously reported that the Moscow club could receive around four million euros for the transfer. Mangas is eager to return to his homeland for two reasons: he is expecting a child soon, and he wants to work with Lisbon’s head coach, Rui Borges.

Mangas has been with Spartak since September 2024, joining from Vitória de Guimarães. He has played 19 matches in all competitions for the Moscow club, scoring three goals. The defender’s current contract runs until the summer of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at two and a half million euros.
