7 Southeast Michigan counties under winter weather advisory due to snow
More snow expected Wednesday, refreeze remains concern
Seven counties in Southeast Michigan are under a winter weather advisory due to accumulating snow.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the following counties until 4 p.m. on Wednesday:

Livingston County

Oakland County

Macomb County
-
Genesee County

Lapeer County
-
Sanilac County
-
St. Clair County
In Macomb, Oakland and Livingston counties, a snow/rain mix will continue through the morning, before changing to snow in the afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, 3-5 inches fell in these areas early Wednesday morning.
Additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches are expected.
Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing on Wednesday afternoon, causing untreated surfaces to become icy quickly.
